Practicing Macro Photography
My neighbors tree has beautiful blossoms on it and I was lucky enough to get some macro shots.
Recently the 52Frames photography challenge was abandoned places. I found two different places ~ an old barn and a church and cemetery that was established in 1895.
I just received a new camera lens ~ the Tamron 18-400mm lens for an early birthday present and on Sunday tried it out on the moon. The full moon was Monday but we were going to have rain (again).
The daffodils are starting to bloom in East Tennessee!
I participate in a weekly photography challenge called 52Frames. This week’s challenge was extreme contrast. Below is my submission and some alternate submissions.
I love shooting the moon. Last week the crescent moon was beautiful and Venus was aligned with it.

Recently my photography meetup group had a photo meetup at The Children’s Museum of Oak Ridge. It’s a wonderful, hands on museum. Shooting at museums is always tricky with lighting issues and I enjoyed the challenge.
I participate in a weekly photography challenge called 52Frames. Recently the challenge was intentional color palette with extra credit for doing a flat lay. A flat lay is simply a photo of objects arranged on a flat surface, captured from directly from above. I had never done one before and I decided to try it for this challenge.
