My name is Mary Ann Gilfillan of Altered Life Photography. Nature, landscape, and flower photography are my favorite things to shoot. I took a photography class WAY back in college and caught the bug ~ shutterbug that is. Then life got in the way, and it wasn’t until 2016 that I became serious about photography. Moving from Chicago to East Tennessee in 2018 has only spurred my passion for photography.
Currently, I reside near Crossville, Tennessee and my work has been on exhibit at the Fairfield Glade Art Guild, a1ArtLab in Knoxville, at the Knoxville Arts Cultural Alliance and with the Sweetwater Valley Citizens for Arts. In addition, my photos have also been on display at the Grinder House in Crossville and the Cookeville Art Studio in Cookeville.
My photos are currently for sale at the Dogwood Exchange in Crossville and at Restored & Co in Livingston. I have been published in Dragonfly Photography Magazine, Stellar Exposure Magazine, Memorable Moments Magazine, ENVYD Magazine, Color Shot Magazine and Snap’d Magazine.
My photography has received an honorable mention in the 7th Annual Animal Kingdom Art Exhibition by Fusion Art. Currently, I have a photo that was chosen to be included in the Spring Arts in the Airport at Tyson McGhee Airport in Knoxville.
